The Junior Olympics National Qualifier is the last step before the 2011 AAU Junior Olympic Games in New Orleans from July 30-Aug. 6.

The top five finishers in the individual events and the top four teams or athletes in the relays and the multi-events (pentathlon, heptathlon, decathlon) qualified for New Orleans.

Area 3 in AAU track and field spans all of Virginia, Washington, D.C. and most of Maryland.
