SUFFOLK — Evelyn J. Bradshaw, 80, died July 20, 2011, in Sentara Obici Hospital.

Born in Nansemond County, she was the daughter of the late Viola Virginia and James A. Jernigan. She is the widow of Robert Wesley Bradshaw.

Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by her children, David A. Bradshaw and wife, Pattie, of Wytheville, Va., Shirley Brinkley Mizelle and husband, James, of Suffolk, Va., Cindy Wack and husband, Edward, of Virginia Beach, Va., Roger D. Bradshaw and wife, Margie, of Suffolk, Va., and Nancy Wilby and husband, Patrick, of Suffolk, Va.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers, James A. Jernigan Jr. and DeWitt C. Jernigan, of the Eastern Shore.

A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, July 22, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Newman Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the R.W. Baker & Co.
