Carl Curtis Jackson III, 54, of Suffolk, Va., passed away on July 21, 2011. A native of Rainelle, W.Va., he was predeceased by his two heroes, his father, Carl C. Jackson II, and his grandfather, Carl C. Jackson. He was an “honorary graduate” of the United States Marine Corps and later served as vice president and operations manager of Magic Sweep Corporation.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sandra M. Jackson; his mother, Jacqueline Gladwell Jackson; daughter and son-in-law, Joanna and Nathan Cordon; sons, Scott Jackson and David Jackson; sister, Stephanie Butler; and brother, Dee Jackson.
