Two 23-year-old women were arrested Sunday and charged with peeping into a window on Kilbourne Way early that morning.

Dominique Renee Eley and Nicole Crystal Smith each were charged with peeping into an occupied dwelling and released on summonses.

Suffolk police were called to the residence on Kilbourne Way in the Burbage area just before 3 a.m. on Sunday. A resident reported seeing two people peeping in a window and attempting to open a garage door, city spokeswoman Debbie George said.

“It’s unclear exactly what their intent was, but they were observed looking through the window as well as tampering with the door handle,” George said.

No entry was made into the buildings and nothing was taken, she added.
