The Western Tidewater Swim Association’s summer season had its big finale with the association’s annual All-Star Meet on Saturday at the Suffolk Family YMCA.

Hundreds of young swimmers, ages 4-18, on nine WTSA clubs had their best competitor in each event and their top relay teams swim for the season titles, going along with fun in a sport that fit perfectly with the weekend’s triple-digit temperature.

Churchland Swim Club won the team competition with the Nansemond Sharks, from Nansemond Swim Club in Eclipse, placing second.
