Suffolk police on Thursday morning arrested two men in connection with a felonious assault that occurred in July.

Members of the Neighborhood Enforcement Team South executed search warrants at two houses in the Lake Kennedy community. They arrested Aaron Green, 18, and Quashawn House, 19. They were assisted by the northern Neighborhood Enforcement Team, SWAT and the Special Investigation Unit.

Police arrested Green at a home in the 1100 block of Blythewood Lane. He was arrested on one count of felonious assault. Gang paraphernalia also was recovered from the residence, city spokeswoman Debbie George said.

House was arrested on one count of felonious assault at a residence in the 500 block of Chisholm Lane. An outstanding warrant from Newport News also was served on House.

Charges for possession of stolen property are anticipated, George added.
