Mr. James L. Sumner (Linberg) departed this earthly life on Aug. 15, 2011. His survivors include his daughters, Vanessa Collins and Dora Lee; a stepdaughter, Sylvia Lawrence; and a stepson, Curbie Artis. A funeral of triumph will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20 at the Corinth Chapel UCC at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Sumner Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday. The family will receive friends at 11532 and 11912 Camp Pond Road (Holland area). Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the home going service.
