AUGUSTA, Ga. — Jeanne Sturgeon Harkness passed away on Aug. 2, 2011.

Born June 22, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Eloise S. and Myron A. Sturgeon and sister of the late Jacquelin S. Martin.

Her survivors include two nieces, Virginia M. Johnson and Myra M. Copeland; a grandniece, Elizabeth Eppes Johnson, and grandnephew, Graham Ian Copeland.

A memorial service will be held at Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church in Augusta on Sept. 8, 2011, at 10 a.m.
