Roosevelt A. Clark, 76, passed peacefully on Sept. 4, 2011, after a short illness.

He is survived by his sister, Gracie Pearl Parker (Eugene), of Dendron; brothers, Felton Clark (Irene), of Surry, Cleaveon Clark, of Suffolk; sister-in-law, Asrine Clark, of New Jersey; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Sept. 8 from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at noon at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 14165 Racetrack Road, Ivor, Va. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. Funeral services are entrusted to Pretlow and Chapman Funeral Home, Smithfield, Va. 357-2326.
