To the editor:

The family of Lon Bickham would like to thank all who have supported Lon and his family with love, visits, cards and contributions. Lon’s survival and recovery has been due to all who care for him and about him as he makes this journey.

We thank all who supported the Lon Bickham Benefit on Sept. 17. The GirlsNPearls who sponsored the benefit are to be commended for their thoughtfulness in planning the benefit and for their hard work to make it happen. What a wonderful group of friends and classmates.

We will never be able to thank everyone individually for the overwhelming support, but know that we will never forget.

Please keep Lon in your thoughts and prayers. He has a long journey ahead. His will and determination are matched by your support.
