Some of the quilts currently on display at the Suffolk Art Gallery include “My Bootiful Quilt,” detail above, by Marcia Welsh.

A textile exhibit by members of the Suffolk Quilters Guild is on display at the Suffolk Art Gallery through Oct. 30.

It is the eighth triennial exhibit by the guild, which was established in 1987. The group has more than 80 members and meets the first Thursday of each month at BASF, 2301 Wilroy Road. Each meeting begins at 7 p.m. with a 30-minute social period beforehand. Visitors are welcome and may attend two meetings before joining. Yearly membership is $20.

The quilt exhibit features 56 quilts of many different styles and a wide range of sizes, from very small to very large.
