The Second Annual Shoebox Ride, hosted by the Southside Baptist Church F.A.I.T.H. Riders, has been rescheduled.

The ride has been postponed twice because of rain but is planned to take place Oct. 15, with registration beginning at 9 a.m. and the ride departing at 10:30 a.m.

The motorcycle ride is $20 for a single rider, $10 for a female rider and $5 for passengers. Lunch will be provided to riders and passengers at noon.

The ride benefits Operation Christmas Child, which provides shoeboxes filled with toys, clothes and hygiene products to impoverished children.

The ride takes off from 5239 Quaker Drive.
