Two Suffolk men face a series of felony charges following a traffic stop Tuesday morning for a couple of minor infractions.

Travis Deshaun Clark, 23, of the 700 block of Ashley Ave. and Gary Lewis Blount, 26, of S. 5th St., were in a vehicle stopped for improper display of a license tag and invalid state inspection, according to Suffolk spokesperson Debbie George.

Police noticed an array of stolen items in the back seat and the trunk of their vehicle, George stated in a press release on Wednesday. After looking around the immediate area, police then found that a business’ shed had been burglarized on the 400 block of Carolina Road, George stated in a press release.
