Lakeland sophomore midfielder Jamee Albright was named the Southeastern District Player of the Year as the Lady Cavaliers completed an 11-0 run through the district field hockey season with a 3-0 win over Grassfield in the district tournament final Friday in Virginia Beach.

Lady Cavalier head coach Tara Worley, after guiding Lakeland to its 12^th straight season championship in the Southeastern District and 11^th straight SED Tournament championship, earned the district Coach of the Year honor.

Lakeland (14-4) meets Granby, the No. 2 seed from the Eastern District, in the quarterfinals of the Eastern Region Tournament on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the U.S. Field Hockey National Training Center in Virginia Beach.
