A woman returned home on Monday to find another woman there, stealing her possessions.
The victim returned to her residence in the 600 block of Cedar Street Extended to find a female inside the house, city spokeswoman Debbie George said.
“The victim asked the subject what she was doing in her house, and the subject fled on a bike,” George said.
The victim checked her residence and found that several items were missing, including televisions, a computer, an iPad, cell phones and shoes, George said.
Officers responding to the incident canvassed the area in search of the suspect. They did not find her but did discover that a nearby vacant house had some of the victim’s property inside.
The suspect is described as a black female wearing a dark jacket, jeans and micro-braids, about 5-feet-6-inches tall with a thin build.
