Suffolk rescue workers have responded to a report of two skydivers injured at Skydive Suffolk.
The incident, reported just before 7 p.m. from Suffolk Executive Airport, involves two skydivers “that took very hard landings,” city spokeswoman Debbie George said.
One is being transported by Nightingale Air Ambulance to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, she said. The patient is a 51-year-old male, according to police radio transmissions. The second victim is leaving the scene in an ambulance.
No further information was available Saturday night.
