Car show winners named

James Biggs of Suffolk took home the Best in Show award for his 1955 Chevy Bel Air.

Vintage vehicles made by Chevrolet swayed the judges during the third annual Paul D. Camp Community College Antique Car and Truck Show held recently.

Sponsored by the PDCCC Foundation, the event was held at the Franklin Campus to raise funds for scholarships and staff and faculty needs.

Awards were announced by Antique Car and Truck Show Chairman Herb DeGroft and presented by PDCCC President Paul Conco.

The recipients of the Best Car in Show trophy were Rick and Bunny Riddick of Suffolk with their 1967 Chevy Chevelle SS. The Best Truck in Show award was presented to Earl Nichols of Suffolk for his 1969 Chevy C-10.

James Biggs of Suffolk earned the Best in Show trophy with his 1955 Chevy Bel Air 2-door hardtop.
