Valerie Bradshaw, 54, of Suffolk, Va., passed away on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at her residence. She was a native of Nansemond County and was the daughter of the late Mack Hyman and Madeline Cleo Bernard.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Clarence Bradshaw; daughters, Jonelle Jacobs and Rosalyn Briscoe (Altron); son, Miguel Louis-Jean, of Virginia Beach; sister, Mamie Bailey; brothers, Sylvester Coles and Timothy Bernard (Lisa), of Philadelphia, Pa.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
