Suffolk police arrested a 49-year-old man Saturday and charged him with felonious assault after they say he stabbed a female acquaintance with a fillet knife.
The alleged incident occurred in the 100 block of Chestnut Street on Saturday about 7:30 p.m. during an argument, city spokeswoman Debbie George said. The woman suffered injuries to her torso and elbow, but they are not considered life-threatening.
Kenneth Parham was arrested and charged with felonious assault as well as stab, cut or wound.
