VIRGINIA BEACH — Thomas Russell Frazier, 72, passed away on December 17, 2011. Mr. Frazier was the founder and former owner of Tommy Frazier Auto Parts in Virginia Beach as well as Bennett’s Creek Marina and Creekside Seafood Restaurant in Suffolk. He loved to travel and retired in 2000. Tommy was an avid golfer and was a member of the Heron’s Ridge Golf Club in Virginia Beach, and the Heritage Palms Golf Club in Fort Meyers, Fla.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Culley Frazier; two daughters, Keith Frazier Daniel and her husband, John, of Suffolk, and Pamela Frazier Hess, of Potomac Falls, Va.; a brother, Steve C. Frazier and his wife Royce, of Virginia Beach; and two sisters, Geneva Frazier, of Virginia Beach, and Delores Stakes, of Roanoke, Va.; three grandchildren, Kent Algire III and Culley and Caroline Hess; nieces, Heather Malbon, Andrea DeWalt and Mary Faire Garnett; nephews, Michael Stakes and Gaines Frazier; and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clynard Russell and Mary Juanita Frazier.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at 11 a.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. Online condolences may be made at www.hdoliver.com.
