Four residents of an apartment complex on Litton Lane awoke Wednesday to find items missing from their vehicles.
Some of the vehicles had been left unlocked, but at least one had evidence of possible forced entry, city spokeswoman Debbie George said.
One victim reported that she noticed her driver’s side door was not closed all the way, and the passenger door was in the same condition. After looking inside, she realized her glove compartment and center console were left open.
A wallet was stolen from that vehicle, George said. Three other victims lost a box-cutter, two coats and some change, and two bottles of liquor.
