Lock Junious Parker Jr., 55, of Portsmouth, Va., died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was a native of Suffolk, Va., and the son of the late Lock J. Parker Sr. and Hazel Parker. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Parker.

He was a graduate of Suffolk High School. He was employed at Norfolk Naval Base. He was a member of Grove Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Phyllis Parker; two daughters, Niketa Parker and Felicia Venson (Shannon); three sons, Reshon Wilburn (Chanelle), Lock J. Parker III and Montrell Parker; three sisters, Cheryl Drayton (Kevin), Rosalyn Wallace and Jacqueline Parker; one brother, John Fitzgerald Parker; seven grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at Grove Baptist Church, 5910 West Norfolk Road, Portsmouth, officiated by Dr. Melvin Marriner.
