Suffolk police are seeking a suspect wanted on felony charges and are asking for the public’s assistance.

Troy Greene, 40, is wanted on charges of forgery, uttering and obtaining money by false pretense, according to a city news release.

He is suspected of allegedly cashing a stolen, forged check at the Suffolk BB&T on May 26, according to the news release.

He also is wanted by Isle of Wight County authorities for a probation violation, according to the news release.

Greene is described as a 40-year-old black male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and 210 pounds. His last known address is 23185 Speckle St. in Windsor.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
