ZUNI — Emery Harris Jr., of 20549 Thomaswoods Trail, Zuni, Va., peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012. A home going service for Emery will be held at noon, Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at Gilfield Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Kenneth Ricks. The viewing of the body will be from 11 a.m. to noon at Gilfield Baptist Church. Interment will be in Franklin, Va., at Southview Cemetery. Shivers Funeral Chapel in Smithfield, Va., is handling the arrangements.
