Richard Allen Holmes, 75, of Suffolk, Va., passed away on Jan. 10, 2012. Friends may join the family Thursday night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Va., for visitation and other times at the residence. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. A celebration of life service will be held following the graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at Western Branch Community Church, 1935 Jolliff Road, Chesapeake, VA 23321 with the Rev.
