Twenty-five police officers raided a Windsor home for suspected drugs and arrested two men on warrants.
No drugs were found during the search Friday at the East Griffin Street home, Windsor Police Chief Vic Reynolds said. Materials for packaging crack cocaine were found, he said.
Martin Jennings of Suffolk was arrested on a felony warrant, and Richard Williams of Windsor on a warrant for failure to appear, Reynolds said.
“We are not going to tolerate this here,” Reynolds said. “Windsor is a growing community, and the residents have dealt with the nuisance at this location for more than 10 years now. Enough is enough.”
Franklin Police and Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office assisted in the search. A search warrant was obtained after an ongoing investigation into narcotics distributions and firearms violations.
