Mr. George R. Bynum, 219 Prospect Road (Magnolia Gardens), Suffolk, departed this earthly life on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012. Mr. Bynum was a member of the Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church.

His survivors includes a sister, Mildred Redmond, of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Alexander Turner, of Suffolk; one niece, Trina Thomas (Gary); two nephews, Anthony Redmond and Alexander L. Turner; cousins, Diane Johnson, Katie Seabron, Brenda Dildy and James Turner; in-laws, Marian Cooper, Edna Powell and Willie Powell.

A funeral of triumph will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. Alexander Turner, 2013 King St. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the home going services.
