Suffolk police have added new charges to three teens already accused of robbing a pizza delivery driver in December.
Demetrius Lamar “Meathead” Bazemore, Trashion Brown and Deshaun Tyrel Griffin, all 18, now all are charged with prohibited criminal street gang participation.
They already were charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit robbery in the Dec. 12 robbery of a pizza driver that took place in the 100 block of South Fourth Street.
In the robbery, the driver was approached by three males, one of whom produced a handgun and demanded money. The victim handed over a small amount of money, and the suspects fled
behind some houses.
City spokeswoman Debbie George said police accuse the three of being members of the Lloyd Street Gang and acting as gang members when allegedly robbed the delivery driver together.
