Franklin Thomas Roberts, age 71, originally of Suffolk, Va., passed away on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion K. Roberts.

Franklin is survived by a daughter, Tawnya Swindell and her husband, Steve; a son, Greg Roberts; five grandchildren, Lillian Blagg, Jessie Blagg, Ethan Roberts, Dakota Swindell, Bailee Swindell; three sisters, Barbara Wilkins, Frances Chittum, Carolyn Hedgebeth; one brother, Willie Roberts.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, in the chapel at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens on Shoulders Hill Road in Suffolk.
