The Portsmouth Sports Club will hold its 66th annual Jamboree Feb. 29 at The Portsmouth Renaissance Hotel.

A social hour will start at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards and scholarship presentations. The featured speaker will be Frank Beamer, head football coach at Virginia Tech.

The following awards will be presented:

2011 Female College Athlete of the Year — Mallory Shaffer, soccer, College of William and Mary

Male College Athlete of the Year — Danny Coale, football, Virginia Tech

College Coach of the Year, Beth Anders, field hockey, Old Dominion University

Sports Person of the Year — Holt W. “Billy” Butt

High School Coach of the Year, William “Billy” Kline, Churchland High School

Female High School Athlete Award of Excellence — Kaytlynn Heroux, Churchland High School

Male High School Athlete Award of Excellence — Garrett Brooks, Western Branch High School
