Southampton Storm Fastpitch will hold several fundraisers in coming months to help with the costs of their 2012 Tournament season. The three teams representing the Storm Organization will be competing in the 12U, 14U and 18U divisions at Softball Nation, NSA, ASA, USSSA and NCUSFA sanctioned tournaments beginning March.

The first fundraiser will be a Krispy Kreme doughnut sale March 3. The 12U and 14U players and parents will be set up at Tractor Supply and Sunoco on Armory Drive in Franklin. Sale begins at 8 a.m. at both locations.

The second fundraiser will be at Fred’s Restaurant on Main Street in Franklin on March 11. The 18U players will be waitressing for tips from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The third fundraiser will be a Nixon’s catered dinner on March 24. Tickets for this event can be purchased in advance for $8 from any Storm player or at Line Drive Hitting in Courtland. All three teams will benefit from this fundraiser. The Nixon’s Trailer will be at the Lowes Home Improvement store on Armory Drive from 4 to 6 p.m. for this event.
