WINDSOR — Raymond Lee Jones, 64, passed away Feb. 19, 2012, at Golden Living Center, Portsmouth. He was son of the late Wade Sheffey and Nellie Mae Jones, of Windsor. He attended Georgie Tyler High School.

He is survived by two sisters, Lula Mae Copeland and Vanessa Laverne Goodwin and her husband, Pastor Edwin L. Goodwin Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-cousins.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at Crocker Funeral Home, 900 E. Washington St., Suffolk. Burial will be at Chapel Grove UCC Cemetery, 7366 Black Water Road, Windsor. A wake service will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
