Douglas L. Landers, 94, a native of Suffolk, Va., passed away in Denver, Colo., on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2012. He was a 1937 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Suffolk and later lived in New York for many years.

Douglas leaves to cherish his memories his beloved sister, Marjorie Ann Bernard Beasley (Leroy Beasley), of Denver, Colo.; a cousin, Annie Harrison Parker, of Suffolk, Va.; and other cousins, nephews and nieces.
