Luther Junius Scott, 69, of 319 Fuller St., Suffolk, Va., died Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Sentara Obici Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Roberts Scott; two daughters, Tamera Michelle Scott, of Hampton, and Jasmine Joy Scott, of Suffolk; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2012, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1351 White Marsh Road, Suffolk. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
