Erastos Purrington, 99, of 1906 Copeland Road, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Gethsemane Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Ernest Simmons. Interment will be in Gethsemane Baptist Church Cemetery.
