Berry grabs a top-10 spot

Mount Olive College junior baseball player Jermaine Berry, from Suffolk, is in the top 10 players in NCAA Division II schools in the nation in runs scored. He is one of seven Mount Olive players on that list.
Berry remains atop Conference Carolinas in batting average, and is now 17th in the country (.435). He also ranks 14th in hits (54), 13th in RBI per game (1.27) and 22nd in total RBI (38). He ranks 10th in runs scored.
Berry and his teammates had posted a 16-game winning streak for the Trojans as of Tuesday afternoon.
