NSA golfers split for the week

Greenbrier Christian hosted Nansemond-Suffolk Academy at the par-72 Riverfront golf course on Thursday, besting the Saints in Suffolk, 306-332.
Medalist was Ashton Newsome of Greenbrier, who shot a 70.
The Saints are now 5-1, 1-1 in the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools.
Nansemond-Suffolk hosted Peninsula Catholic at the par-72 Sleepy Hole Golf Course on Wednesday, winning the match 322-423.
Medalists were NSA’s Stuart Brazil and Keith Cooper, who shot scores of 77 apiece.
Will Comer and Thomas Meyers shot 84 for the Saints.
It was NSA’s first conference win.
