King’s Fork High School junior Ryan Cyrus has been named to the Bay Youth Orchestra.

Cyrus joins over 250 student musicians from Hampton Roads who are creating four performing ensembles to present concerts throughout the Tidewater area.

He will join students from as far away as Williamsburg, Yorktown and North Carolina, and as close as Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Hampton and Norfolk, to attend weekly rehearsals in Norfolk and Chesapeake.

Over the past 39 years, Bay Youth Orchestras has developed into one of America’s largest youth orchestra programs.
