Nansemond River High School boys’ basketball Coach Ed Young will host the eighth annual Youngstarz Basketball Camp from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily June 25-28 at Nansemond River High School.

The camp is intended for boys and girls entering grades three through eight as of September; it serves as a fundamentals camp for young players.

The cost is $100, with discounts available for more than one child from a single family. The cost rises to $110 after June 10. After coaches and players are paid, all profits will go to the Nansemond River basketball program as a fundraiser.

Warriors team members from the past and present will work with campers each day, along with NRHS coaches.

There is a limit of 60 participants, and the event has sold out for the past two years.
