This fire in a townhouse unit on Squire Reach displaced five people on Saturday night.

Five people were displaced from their homes late Saturday night when a fire broke out in a townhouse unit, causing damage to two additional units.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue responded to the blaze in the 100 block of Squire Reach just after 10 p.m. Fire crews found heavy fire in the rear of one of the units and began attacking the fire from the back, eventually sending fire crews inside to the second floor and attic.

The adjacent units were evacuated by fire and police on scene, and no injuries were reported. The fire was brought under control in about 30 minutes.
