Dorothy Winnegan Fenner, 70, of 301 N. Fifth St., Suffolk, Va., died Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Isle of Wight County and the son of the late Lenious Winnegan and Essie Newby.

She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Eugene Fenner; seven daughters, Doretha Jones (Larry), Mary Chapman (Qudree), Doris Winnegan, Ruby Wilson, Benita Harris, Joann Wilkins (Jamie) and Shamese Joyner (James); two sisters, Mary Frances Trawick (Joseph) and Barbara Warney; 23 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Grace Winnegan; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2012, at St. Paul Baptist Church officiated by Bishop C.V. Russell III. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
