Suffolk police are investigating shots fired in a neighborhood south of downtown early Sunday.

Officers responded to the 1100 block of Cogic Square for reports of shots fired, according to city spokeswoman Debbie George.

Upon arrival, the officers located three vehicles and three apartments that had been struck by gunshots. Officers contacted the owners, completed reports and collected evidence.

No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing, George added.
