Edna Virginia T. Blough

SUFFOLK — Edna Virginia Thompson Blough, 86, passed away May 15, 2012, in Suffolk.

Born in Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Zonie C. and Roy G. Thompson. Edna is predeceased by her son, Isaac Blough Jr.

Edna was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Chuckatuck and was involved with the United Methodist Women. She was a former Sunday school teacher for more than 50 years.

Survivors include her loving husband, Isaac Blough; daughters, Wanda Barner (Allen) and Donna Howell (Bennett), both of Suffolk, Va.; brother, Rudolph Thompson, of Pascagoula, Miss.; sisters, Barbara Butterworth, of Pascagoula, Miss., and Bettie Killingsworth, of Corinth, Miss.; grandchildren, Scott Blough (Jeannie), Jennifer Griffith, Kelly Barner, Kevin Howell (Valerie), Keith Howell (Rana); great-grandchildren, Callie Blough, Tess Blough, Tyler Howell, Taylor Howell, Hali Goines and Morgan Goines.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, May 19, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, by the Rev. Ileana Rosario with burial following in the Wesley Chapel UMC Cemetery.
