James Ray Chestnutt, 74, died May 19, 2012.

A funeral will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, Suffolk, with Pastor Greg Kitts officiating.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence. Burial with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
