A local woman has written a book about her choir’s journey to Paris in 2010.

“A Higher Praise in Paris, France: April 9-27, 2010” was written by the Rev. Brenda L. Boone.

She has a book signing scheduled for next month.

“God inspired me in my dreams and vision in the year 2000 to bring together multiple voices of the Hampton Roads area into one concert choir,” Boone said. “God gave me the theme, the scripture, and the name of the choir in my dream for the initial concert, ‘Let’s Just Praise Him,’ and the name of this concert choir.”

The book was published by PublishAmerica.

The book signing is set for June 2 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in MacArthur Center, 300 Monticello Ave., Norfolk.
