The King’s Fork Woman’s Club has awarded $500 Elizabeth Gardner Scholarships to Shelby Brown and Jessica McIntosh.

Brown is the daughter of Patrica McFatridge. She is a senior at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, where she has participated in the Helping Hands Club, Relay for Life and cheerleading and has been a student ambassador. She will attend James Madison University.

McIntosh is the daughter of Tim and Deb McIntosh. She has participated in the Key Club, Technology Student Association, Beta Club, volleyball, Relay for Life, and the Select Choir. She will attend Randolph College.
