A series of leadership changes in the Sentara health system has led to a vacancy in the president’s position at Sentara Obici Hospital. An interim president has been named.

Blunt there, who was promoted to corporate vice president of the system’s Peninsula hospitals, including Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton and Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center.
Hofelich has been with Sentara since 1992 and held a number of posts within the organization, including vice president and division executive of Sentara Ambulatory Operations and Rehabilitation. He has extensive experience in hospital operations, ambulatory development, program development and physician relationship management, according to a press release from the health care system.
