Vernon Mason, 40, of 166 S. Saratoga St., Suffolk, Va., died Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Sentara Obici Hospital. A funeral service will be held at noon, Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at First Baptist Church, 112 Mahan St., officiated by the pastor, Dr. Steven Blunt. Interment will be in Mason Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home Inc. is handling the arrangements.
