Daisy Blanche “Dee Dee” Pegram Watford, 87, of 415 Wellons St., Suffolk, departed this life on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk.

Daisy was preceded in death by her husband Karo Watford; her parents, George and Lucy Savadge Pegram; eight sisters and four brothers. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Lauretta Halsey, and son, John Halsey; granddaughters, Kentrina and Khadijah Halsey, of Suffolk; and loving devoted friend, Albert Knight, of Suffolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to visit the Pegram and Halsey family at 168 Greenfield Crescent, Suffolk. Funeral service at Antioch United Church of Christ, Suffolk, by the Rev. Breon Perry on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Mt. Moriah A.M.E. Church Cemetery, 8438 White Marsh Road, Elberon (Surry), VA 23840.

Family and friends are to assemble at 168 Greenfield Crescent, Suffolk, by 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
