Andrea Tillery Wilkins recently completed her doctoral degree in educational leadership and conflict resolution from Nova Southeastern University.

She also holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Regent University. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, a teacher’s certification, and a math endorsement from Norfolk State University.

Dr. Wilkins is the mother of Wesley James Wilkins and daughter of Cynthia T. Royster and Lee Otis Tillery. She is the granddaughter of Lillie Silver Thompson and the late James E. Thompson Sr. and Amos and Irene Tillery.

Dr. Wilkins resides in Suffolk and is currently employed with The Pruden Center for Industry and Technology.
